Roberto Tango and Pisco Sour
Wednesday, December 6th, 2006Well, here we are again in our Chile Travel Guide. And one of the interesting blogs that we found is “Roberto Tango in South America” and guess what… we had the pleasure of meeting Roberto and of course we enjoyed his and our dear friend Rachel’s company on their stay at Casa Newen Bed and Breakfast.
Roberto really enjoyed our “pisco sour” which is a special cocktail of spirits and lemon juice. He was such a charming drunk, that we even revealed to Roberto our precious “pisco sour” recipe! And that outing to “El Cachafaz” with Roberto was great!, he showed himself to be an expert tango dancer, Roberto also enjoyed eating some of the delicious delicatesen “tabla” along with Rachel. We all wanted to stay longer but after the tango show and a few pisco sours we were tired, fortunately we where very close to Casa Newen.
Of course Roberto possed for some pictures….if you are curious and would like to meet him we invite you to visit his blog!
If you enjoy tango dancing, as Roberto does, we recommend to visit “El Cachafaz” on Guardia Viaja, Providencia. We payed three thousand pesos for the show, and you can choose a delicious meal from five thousand pesos. They have a live band and if you order a “pisco sour” before mid night, you pay only two thousand pesos!
Roberto promised to visit us again in February 2007, so if you like to recommend a place were to have a nice “pisco sour” in Santiago, please let us know, we are sure he will appreciate it.
